"I want to stay as close to the edge as I can without going over. Out on the edge you see
all kinds of things you can't see from the center."

The Art of Photo Restoration...

Restoring a photograph to its original condition is a combination of both an artist's touch and expert digital restoration skills.

How is restoration accomplished? Your photograph is scanned in 48 bit resolution. The original is then safely stored as the digital restoration and reconstruction begins.

Your original is never touched...

Enlarged, it is inspected and professionally restored pixel by pixel. It is printed on Epson professional grade photo paper with archival light fast ink. Guaranteed for as long as you own the print.

Digital Watercolour Portraiture: A family portrait fought a losing battle against aging. Fading, yellowing, mold and flaking emulsion needed to be dealt with immediately.

The restored photo, printed on Epson professional paper with archival inks, is now safely preserved as a family heirloom photograph. As always, the original photo is never altered. All work is digital.

Prom Night: Pieces of this prom night photograph were completely torn out as it was removed from behind the framing glass.

Rebuilding the missing pieces was the primary task. Colour correction, background retouching and cropping were the final elements to ready this photo for Epson professional grade photo paper.

Good 'ol Days on the Beach: This family photo has been restored to its former glory and then some...

Restoration included the repair of stains, cracks and countless minute scratches. The sandy beach forefront was extended and the photo was cropped to finish before archival printing on Epson pro stock.

Birthday Girl: This adorable little girl was very nearly lost to the ravages of time.

After removing the chemical yellowing, the damage to the photo becomes evident. The top left corner was blown out; tiny cracks, smears and black spots abound. She is now beautifully archived for future generations to enjoy.
